Given names per family line/gender. Both families are predominantly Catholic, and as such given names tend to be (historically) fairly long. These charts break given names into the individual names based on spacing, so "Mary Margaret Eileen" will be broken into the three individual names, while "Jean-Baptiste Ovila" would result in two. Accents are removed from the groupings, so Gérard would be counted with Gerard.
