- Son George, born out of wedlock. Margaret worked at Moirs Hotel, in H'don (present location of old Chateau). Sent off to New York city during her pregnancy, where George was born. They eventually moved back to H'don, and George, at age fourteen, became an apprentice to his uncle Barney, who was a buttermaker in Ellensburg, NY.
